Artwork FAQ.
What is the best file format for my stickers?
We recommend vectored artwork, but we do accept most file formats including: JPG, PNG, PSD, PDF & AI. Don't forget to outline all fonts and embed any images.
How do I get the best possible print quality?
Ensure your artwork is set to a minimum of 300dpi & all artwork should be sized to the desired sticker size. Also make sure that your artwork is set to the CMYK colour profile.
What are colour profiles, CMYK & RGB?
RGB stands for Red-Green-Blue and is best for digital images that will be displayed on a screen.
CMYK stands for Cyan-Magenta-Yellow-Black and is ideal for designs that will be printed with ink, such as your stickers!
(Please note: Any artwork converted from RGB to CMYK may look dull so please remember to set your artwork up in CMYK.)
Will my sticker colours match my screen colours?
We print using CMYK, so ensure your artwork is set up in this colour profile. Your finished product will be a close match, but we cannot guarantee an exact match due to the differences in most digital screens.
How will I know which parts of my sticker will be holographic?
Any parts of the artwork which are white will be holographic, along with the bleed around the edge of custom shaped stickers. (Unless otherwise specified)
How will you know where I want my sticker cut?
We will send you a digital proof for you to approve before production, this will clearly show the cutline. Leave a comment in the notes section of your order to help us identify where you want your cutline.
What is the difference between die cut & kiss cut?
Die cut stickers are cut to the exact shape of the design, including the backing paper.
Kiss cut stickers are cut only through the vinyl, leaving the backing intact for easy peeling or for holding extra information, such as business or contact details.
What is a bleed & why do I need it?
Bleed is printing that goes beyond the edge of where the sticker will be trimmed. Artwork bleed ensures there are no unwanted borders.
How much bleed should my artwork have?
We recommend using a bleed of 2mm for most artwork.
